David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American journalist as well as anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. The most viewed news show that airs in America features his dramatic news program, which features celebrity gossips motion-animated gestures and clips. Made In America, his Emmy Nominated show is yet another one of his achievements. He was the principal anchor for the show under the show's predecessor Diane Sawyer before taking over ABC World News Tonight. His maintime reporting with ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint Refugees in America. He's traveled the globe to report on news that concern Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He has received multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as distinctions at the Associated Press.

Perry was born in Chicago to two actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry.
