Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress, best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical drama The Resident. In addition, she received praise for her debut television performance on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Some of her most notable films are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According to the reports, she's working on a project with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, who wrote Immortals in an adaptation of Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. The actress is currently filming an upcoming TV series called Gods & Heroes.

Perry was born in Chicago to two actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry.
